Endorsement and dissemination of studies
The Research Committee, on behalf of the EPC, is happy to support any collaborative research initiatives by its’ members or sister societies.
You may submit your request for either project endorsement (active involvement of EPC research committee and other EPC members in the development and conduct of the study) or dissemination (use of EPC communication channels to make the study known) through this form.
Once submitted, your request will be reviewed by members of the research committee within two weeks' time, following objective criteria.
We will not support projects that meet any of the following criteria:
- Purely commercial studies / market research
- Studies already completed
- Unethical studies
- Lack of transparency
- Involvement of EPC members or related societies rejected
After endorsement of a project, the EPC requests the investigators to comply with the following:
- Involvement of patient representatives is encouraged, but not required
- Involvement of other EPC members is required
- Provide a plan for dissemination of the study through EPC media
- Be prepared to provide an annual update on the study at the annual EPC meeting (or through a representative)
- Acknowledge the EPC’s contribution in any related publication
An overview of studies already endorsed by the EPC can be found here.
