The Research Committee looks after EPC-initiated studies, handles requests for the endorsement of clinical trials, liaises with sponsors interested in supporting/initiating clinical trials, and manages surveys, among several other responsibilities. This committee is also responsible for proposing studies that can be initiated by the EPC.
The scope of the Research Committee encompasses both clinical and basic science.
