Open Call: YOUPPIE Coordinators 2027–2028

13th Oct 2026

The European Pancreatic Club (EPC) is inviting applications for two coordinators of YOUPPIE (Young Pancreatologists in Europe) for a two-year term from 1 January 2027 to 31 December 2028.

YOUPPIE is the EPC's community for young pancreatologists, supporting scientific exchange, professional networking and collaboration among researchers and clinicians under the age of 40.

As YOUPPIE Coordinators, the selected candidates will play an active role in shaping the future of the initiative. Their responsibilities include organising the YOUPPIE session, Awards and reception at the EPC Annual Meeting, managing social media activities and participating in selected EPC Council meetings.

Beyond these responsibilities, coordinators are encouraged to develop their own ideas and initiatives to strengthen the involvement of young pancreatologists within the European scientific community.

The position offers an excellent opportunity to gain international visibility, expand professional networks and collaborate closely with the EPC Executive Committee and Council.

Who can apply?

Applicants must be EPC members, under 40 years of age at the time of application and actively working in pancreatic research or clinical pancreatology.

Candidates are invited to submit a one-page motivation letter and a one-page CV, combined into a single PDF document, to info@europeanpancreaticclub.org.
