The EPC Council
The EPC Council is the governing body of the European Pancreatic Club. It is made up of representatives elected by the EPC General Assembly, who shape the direction of the association and guide its activities.
Council members serve fixed terms, as set out in the EPC statutes. They bring their expertise to EPC initiatives, strategic decisions, and the planning of the annual EPC meeting, among other responsibilities.
The EPC Executive Committee
The Council and Executive Committee are led by the General Secretary, who together with the current President, President-Elect, and Treasurer form the Executive Committee. The Executive Committee meets monthly to oversee the society's day-to-day business.
Meetings
The Council meets at least six times a year, ensuring active and continuous governance of EPC business. Once a year, it also holds an Offsite Meeting to discuss special projects and shape the society's long-term strategy.
Voluntary leadership
All elected positions are voluntary. The EPC is very grateful for the passion and commitment of the members who take on these leadership roles.
