The American Pancreatic Association was founded in 1969 with a mission to foster clinical and basic science research into diseases of the pancreas. Its annual meeting is the cornerstone of the organisation, bringing together specialists from gastroenterology, surgery, endoscopy, radiology, pathology, and beyond to discuss current topics in pancreatic disease.
The EPC maintains a close working relationship with the APA, reflecting a shared commitment to advancing pancreatology through international collaboration.
