www.europeanpancreaticclub.org is a site operated by the European Pancreatic Club. Our registration is pending in Austria. Currently Prof. Matthias Löhr, Secretary of the European Pancreatic Club is responsible for the content on this website. We are a not-for-profit organization regulated by the Landespolizeidirektion Wien, Referat Vereins-, Versammlungs-, und Medienrechtsangelegenheiten.

What does it mean to be a member of our site?
Membership of our site is open to anyone with an interest in the pancreas.
If you are a registered member, you can access the “member” pages on our site and materials and information which is not otherwise available to the public on our site.
A full list of the other member benefits are available here: [INSERT]. This list is provided for indicative purposes only as the list of available benefits may change from time to time. Other benefits are discounts on fees to attend EPC-related events.
Any such change shall in no way give rise to any liability on our part, nor shall it make you eligible for any refund (in whole or in part) of your membership fee.
Information about the membership options we offer (and the related membership fees) are set out here. All of our prices include VAT (or the relevant local equivalent) and are in Euros.
We have a relationship with local pancreatic associations and any membership fees will (if and where relevant depending on the type of membership selected) be shared with the appropriate participating pancreatic association (on terms as agreed separately between us and them).
Registering as a member
If you choose to register on our site as a “member”, we will ask you to provide us with certain information about you, such as your full name and your email address. You must complete all of the mandatory fields on the membership registration form. That information must be true, complete and current, and you must ensure that you keep it up to date. You may not create an account with us using an assumed name or someone else’s identity.
We may request proof of identity and age and have the right to cancel your membership at any time in the event that we become aware that you have not provided us with information which is true, complete and/or current.
Paying for your membership
All payments must be made upfront. No financial information is kept by us and all payment transactions are processed outside of our site by SixPayment.
To cancel your membership, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org. You can cancel your membership at any time and you will continue to have access to the membership benefits until the end of your paid-up membership period.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, membership fees are non-refundable and we do not provide refunds or credits.
You must keep your membership details safe
You will choose a username and password, you must treat such information as confidential. You must not disclose it to any third party.
If you know or suspect that anyone other than you knows your username or password, you must promptly notify us at email@example.com.
We may make changes to these terms and/or our site
We amend these terms from time to time. Every time you wish to use our site, please check these terms to ensure you understand the terms that apply at that time.
We may update and change our site from time to time to reflect changes to our offering, our users’ needs and our business priorities.
We may suspend or withdraw our site
Our site is made available free of charge.
We do not guarantee that our site, or any content on it, will always be available or be uninterrupted. We may suspend or withdraw or restrict the availability of all or any part of our site for business and operational reasons. We will try to give you reasonable notice of any suspension or withdrawal.
