International Survey on Acute Pancreatitis

11th May 2021

Take part in the International Survey on Initial Management of Acute Pancreatitis

The initial management of acute pancreatitis is complex and there is little high-quality evidence to guide important therapeutic measures like fluid resuscitation or analgesia. Furthermore, real clinical practice frequently differs from recommendations from guidelines.

The International Survey on Initial Management of Acute Pancreatitis aims to describe how patients with acute pancreatitis are managed in daily clinical practice.

Designed by a team of international experts in pancreatology from 10 countries (from North and South America, Africa, Europe and Asia), this survey will help to detect gaps between guidelines and practicing physicians, patterns according to different regions and specialities, and more.

Results will be presented at the 2022 EPC meeting. A publication is also planned.
